Made my own Heat shield for my intake (pics)

Ya well, I'm not a big fan of the JWT one.. since it costs $120+ shipping for nothing.

So I decided to make my own and it only cost me $3 and 15 mins of my time.

$120 does seem like a lot.

Make sure that the sharp edges are not near any hoses, wires, etc that could be damaged if they rub up against it.

Yes you can't beat that price. But as Konsole says, finish those edges: either role them or cover them to prevent snags or cutting yourself.

looks like is does what u made it for, but if it was me, id have made it look a little nicer. i dont blame you for the price tho

Ya it's not finished yet, i'm putting insulation on the bottom and painting the top black to give a more facotry look, also edges will be covered with those little styrophom(sp sucks) things..
