Do I need the 7500 Mile Service?

I was looking at a mailer that I received from Infiniti. On the sheet it had recommended services that call for 7500 mile minor maintenance. What do they do and is it needed?

Should only be an oil change.

yeah, lot's of 'inspecting' going on there. only usefull thing is to change oil & oil filter as well as rotate tires.

i'm just going out on a limb here ... i bet u can probably 'inspect' the function of ur lights, horn, starting system, etc. on your own.

not sure what type of G you have, but a lot of that stuff does not apply to coupes, like rotating the tires. Hard to say whether you should do it or not, because if you don't do it and you have a problem in a year, they are going to say 'you didn't do your 7500 service and we could have caught the problem then' and try to screw you later.

06' G coupe 6MT
I'm having my first maintenance (3 months or 3,750 miles) this Friday. I'll then confirm if there will be any charge. To my knowledge the maintenance and the loaner will be at no charge.

Confirmed last Friday scheduled maintenance- Free maintenance and requested wheel balance.
The first 6 maintenance is free- I think it may be a promotion on my 06.

Short answer: yes
Long answer: you can do it yourself but keep good records (and follow at least schedule 2 in the maintenance book as a guideline). Your warranty could be jepordized if you don't do at least oil changes every 7500 miles/6 months - that interval is defined in the warranty booklet.
