hmmm interesting links. i don't know much about these studies but it sounds like the test is geared towards the overall function of the seat and the occupant in it after a rear-end crash. people have been complaining about the seats in these cars for years so it's no surprise that there may be a flaw with them. maybe studies like these will finally put a boot to nissan's behind and have them change the darn things already. i'm not a big fan of our seats either and find them unsupportive in long trips. then again the new g is coming... one can only hope they've done a number on the interior.
Crew, just buy some M45 headrests! They're taller, have the tilt feature, and will significantly reduce the stresses of a rear-impact by those two virtures alone. You can't go wrong, and it can't hurt to spend the couple bucks on them. Its one of the first mods I did as soon as I bought the car
