I received a recall notification from my Infiniti Dealership in the mail today that states:

"Please be aware in the coming months you will receive a recall notice for the fuel hose on your vehicle. We have expanded our facility to 11 technicians and 42 loaners to accomodiate this. Please call us at (###)###-#### when you receive your recall notice."

Just wondering if anyone else received this notification.

Holy ****, that looks like a lot of work.

 

Wow, that stinks. That's a lot of labor.

 

The whole rear end has to come out. That just sucks. Especially since they have to do all of that work to change out some hoses.

 

What years is the recall for ?

What I received in the mail was a recall notification letting me know that there will be a recall in the "coming months".

I don't know which vehicle type or year this recall will affect, but mine is a 2004 sedan. I would assume if its that model year, it would affect the coupe as well due to the fact that sedan and coupe share most mechanical parts.

Hope I am not making any wrong assumptions or jumping to conclusions.

Looked for the 2005 Coupe but no recall (or any info for that matter). I wonder if they knew about this when they changed some things on the 2005?

 

damnit.... i just got my fuel tanks and fuel delivery system replaced over the weekend and picked up my G today.... im wondering if my recall hoses were replaced with legit ones.... i'm sure if i ask the dealer they will tell me Yes regaurdless of whether they did or not.

 

I hope its not for coupes. I have an '04.
