What's in your emergency kit?

Naturaly it's a good idea to keep some emergency things in the car. I'm just curious what you all are keeping? Not trying to keep a disaster recovery team's worth of gear, but some stuff is silly not to have. Other things are just good ideas. Im just curious what you all have. Im sure someone has some good ideas!
Here's what I've got so far
  • Jumper cables
The G might never need it with it's cool power system, but what about that hottie at the mall?
  • space blanket
Gets cold up here, and I've run out of gas in the cold burrrrrr
  • big soft picnick blanket
Sometimes ya just wanna have a 2am picknick (or other activities!)
  • high-quality appropriatetly sized lug nut wrench
Because the one the car comes with is junk
  • set of metric wrenches, sockets, and extensions
  • short and long flat and philips screwdrivers
  • various appropriatetly sized fuses, at least one of every type used in the vehicle
  • a bunch of gauze pads and rolls
because that first aid kit the car comes with is only good for splinters
  • leather belt
if an exaust peice starts to drag, the leather can be used to secure it and it wont burst into flames or melt
  • rubber "bungee" cables
God forbid a bumper comes loose or in a minor accident, beants yanking it off or dragging it

I have one of these in all my vehicles. It's a CPR mask with a one-way valve and filter so that if I ever have to give mouth-to-mouth I don't have to, well, go mouth to mouth :p .

another good thing to have is a small fire extinguisher. Car fires are no fun.

Add a CZ 2075 to the kit. Handy for perforating the ill-intentioned.

If my car catches on fire I'm not putting it out. Let it burn and get a new one.

Also, I read that the maxi pad isn't really for women but for head wounds. I guess it has multiple purposes. :)

I actualy have a Sigsauer 2-2-9 4/10" vertical to horizontal converter ready at all times. Sometimes I use the stubby 2-3-9 4/10" too. This is mass, no CZ's here!

The problem with maxipads for wounds is they suck the blood up like a leach and slows down the clotting... but better than nothing. Hense the gauze pads. Im not talking 1"x1", i'll probably get 6"x6", or special trauma dressing....

The 229 is nice, I have one in 357SIG. Also have a P245. But after 5 boxes at the range, I cant find fault with the RAMI. Feeds every type of .40 I gave it. CPR (concealable, potent, reliable).

my cell phone and the infiniti roadside service card!

Emergency kit...........?

Lets see.....my AAA card, Infiniti card, camera,
flashlight and a Glock. And always have your
cell with you......and never use it while driving!
Ya, I know that's another posting.....

It'll all fit in a 12"x12"x12" plastic container, and I have everything (except the container)... I drive a lot, dont wanna wait for a tow to change my tire or whatever, better to be prepared...
