Yesterday I was out in my sedan on my way to buy some wheel cleaner. I was on my way home from Autozone doing a little spirited driving. I go almost to redline in second and shift to third and my damn car just shuts off. WTF. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? My most recent mod is the Kinetix high flow cats, but they have been on for a couple of weeks. That could not be the problem. While still coasting I pushed in the clutch and turned the key. It started right back up with no lights flashing or anything indicating a problem. Drove for about twenty more minutes and had no problems. Any ideas on what happened?

 

dude check out the recalls list. google it, even check the coupe's recall lists. I saw that recall for 2003's. It may be affecting 04's too
