Angry My Brother Just Curbed My 1 Week Old 19" Aftermarket Wheels

I let my brother drive my G35 Coupe tonight to go out. Anyways, these wheels are only 1 week old and I just had these wheels put on, brand new. I have 19" aftermarket black wheels with a 3" chrome lip. He calls me up about 25 minutes ago and tells me he just went into a huge pothole that he could not avoid as a car was coming towards him and he went straight into it. I went outside to go check as he came home and both the passenger side wheels are curbed like no other. Along the outer edge of both the chrome lips. Not just 2 marks here and there, everywhere on both the outer lip. Im furious right now. Does anyone know a good shop on the Long Island, NY area I can have these repaired or any information to help fix these wheels would be great. Any advice. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about it but what your brother described is kinda fishy... a pot hole leaving gouges around the whole rim? dented or a 1/3 scrapes I can kind of understand. But it really sounds like he just curbed it while parking or something. Of course I could be wrong tho.

I'm guessing he won't be driving your car again anytime soon, eh?

Don't worry, you can get it fixed. Probably $100-$200 per wheel. Just look around for a local wheel repair place.

That's what I was going to say. My bro once took a small chunk out of a wheel when I let him drive my Max years ago. I wanted to kill him then too, but then I thought I would be better to keep him around so I can beat him repeatedly for years to come. Oh yes, much more satisfying!

I saw I a truck for a company that repairs/refinishes wheels while I driving on the LIE. I took down the info for my bro for some used HRE wheels he got. I'll try to track down the info and post it.
