Anyone know a good DYNO shop on Long Island or Queens?

Looking to get my car DYNO'd pretty soon. I have been reading alot of post about how low the 5AT G's Dyno's are and I wanna just get mine tested. I only have a plenum spacer, z-tube and popcharger.

Lately it seems that alot of cars I NEVER thought would keep up, are somehow keeping up, ie. Toyota Solara, turbo'd Eagle Talon (i know its turbo'd but come on its a Eagle Talon) and 3 series BMW's. Who knows maybe I installed something wrong.

Anyway, please let me know a good place somehwere in Long Island or Queens fellas, thanx..

If anyone else wants to go lemme know... BTW, i think now is the best time since its cold.

Keeping up how J?

Straight line keep up? because if its from a stand still the G will take the Talon out and the Solara the 3 series depends because well its a series so you could be up against different HP/TQ depending on what they are pushing...like a 330 with the performance package will definately hang with you - no problem.

but if its a driving thru traffic kind of thing then it depends on the driver.
The Talon maybe had something because that should not keep up at all

Auto's put out lower dyno than sticks but not "low" numbers
Mine pulled a 243HP/230 with the JWT P/C and Borla Dual exhaust at MRC

I think Hector aka GDup13 pulled a 253HP not sure of the TQ and he has an 05 .

u gotta take those cars man...lol...push that G harder

Im talking in a straight line... The Talon seemed like he could have passed me. Because I left him from the light (atleast 4 cars length) but the bastard caught up and was right next to me. The Solara was a diff case, I wasnt really pushing too hard but noticed he was keeping up. I just have a vendetta against 3 series BMW's.... Never really raced one, but I have read enough stories on here and read on their forum to know they think they are bettter and faster than us.

About the Dyno's....

243 is excellent. If you read random dynos on this site people are pulling low 220's and mid 230's, ALOT... Maybe its the weather

Hector I believe has a 6MT so his numbers will automatically be higher.

Thanks for the encouragement Vance... i will try harder

I would love to go there, because I never been there before. I called and their Dyno machines are down until they get situated in Smithtown

I used to have all of my work done by them. However, on a recent post here I heard some horrible news that opened my eyes as to why my past cars have been broken into so much.

I dont really wanna do business with them anymore. Who knows, if theres no one else I may have to bite the bullet.

The last time i spoke to them they said they were moving but did not have a set location for me yet. From what i understand the new place should be just as big as the current one. They do good work for sure and the dyno they use is the Mustang Dynomometer. If you go there look for Vinny 10, he is the VQ35 guru.
