Cool turbo charging an automatic

what do you guys think about turbo charging an auto will you have the effect of a manual same power diff when using the tip tronic? and is it the same installation? do you need extra parts besides what the kit has? and do you guys think its worth it?

VB upgrade to handle that extra power.
It's not necessary but I would so it can shift harder and mess with the manuals

Is it worth it?
That's all subjective

you don't need the valve body upgrade, but it would be nice to have the more responsive shifts with the extra power. I wouldn't recommend anything but a single turbo for the AT G since frankly you wont be able to get the power that a TT kit can offer with your transmission. I don't think there is anything major you need, just a few little tweeks with the if anything to make it work. You may want to consider a oil cooler and oil pan spacer too just to be on the safe side. And yes, it is definitely worth it (not subjective!!!)

More than worth it!!

I would get a better tranny cooler and the valve body helps a lot but is not required.

If you want the tranny to last... you should do it. The tranny is solid and pretty strong from factory with CF clutches. But a higher stall speed torque converter and a valve job would make it that much more efficient and prevent slippage.

ProTorque out on LI does good work with autos.

I would suggest Supercharging the auto vs turbo. However if you want to pick manuals NA style, swap the rear diff.
