What who doesn't drive their G's in the snow?

I would say get a accord or civic pretty reliable and you can probably find one cheap.

I use to drive a accord but then I found out how much fun it is to drive a TT G35 in the snow and beat the evo and sti guys on their own grounds.

I dirve my 6mt in snow all the time with blizzaks and its funny when I'm passing SUV's on the highway or climbing hills faster than they can in the snow.

I also have a saturn that I take out occasionally

In retrospect I should've kept my 1997 Rodeo with 150K+ miles rather than turning it in. Hoping for a mild winter here in DC.

Either way, the question is, ~$800 for a set of good winter tires or ~$2K for a beater?

BTW I've got an '04 6MT coupe currently with Yokohama AVS ES100's... anyone have any idea how this will fare in the snow?
