Hey Guys,
Greg suggested to go to Long Island Range that he is familiar with....according to him he will be able to bring his automatic weapons with him to that range since he is a member. I just want to take a quick vote and see how everyone feels about going to the LI gun range instead.........if we decide on LI range then we will need Greg to provide us with all the detail.....if we are going to Pa spot I proposed then I will start planning for a place to meet and other details.........let me know how you guys/gals feel on this one !?!?!?!!!?!?!?

 

i dont have any guns so my vote 4 penn since you sed we cud rent them there

 

no doubt Chris....i'm also leaning more towards Pa range...since they have every possible gun out there for rent

 

I'm open for either locations... How much is it to rent at the PA location? However, those are some nice "eye candy" that Greg showed and I wouldn't mind firing those suckers... but like he said, his firepower might be overheated if we don't have enough guns, etc...

Babie btw killa sig........you dont actually rent the guns....its more like paying for rounds its like 5 to 10 bucks depending on the weapon....they have glocks, desert eagles, 22's, ar15s..like 5 different rifles dating back to 1920 to present....and a bunch of machine and tank mounted guns i dont even know the name of...another words huge selection. If you bring like 20-30 bucks you should be well entertained.

 

So what is the final word on this? Are we buying in bulk beforehand or when we get there?

I am going to speak to NYCG35 sometime today......as soon as we agree on the location..I will have him post all the info in the first post on the first page of this thread.....

 

Guys, here's the deal with my range and my guns...

1) none of my weapons are full auto, lets get that straight immediately.
2) I ordered 4000 rounds of ammo, so its there for us.
3) I have atleast 4 guys coming with their weapons, so we'll have plenty of stuff to shoot. NONE ARE FULL AUTO, NY is not a class III state!
4) I'm betting that $20-30 buys you very little entertainment and probably about 10 minutes of shooting on full auto or even 3 round burst.

I also have a REALLY hard time with the stated cost above on how much a mag of ammo costs. $5-10 is REALLY low. The lowest I've ever seen is $20/mag of 30 rounds. Full auto shooting comes at a price. I'd like to call the range and confirm everything before we get the cars gased up. I'd hate to get there and find a $30/mag fee. I'd be done before I began, especially after spending $500 on ammo.

 

Greg as long as there are twisties involved in the ride I'm down....I understand that we have enough ammo for all attending...so throwing down for the cost of the ammo is the least we can do since the range does not rent out weapons....Greg please post any info that will be hepful to all attending. thnx Dimitry

Hmm, instead of twisties, I can give you high speed blasts. The Ocean parkway offers a high speed run and at this time of year, the cops aren't really out anymore.

Dimitry, if you have info on your range, shoot it over to me. I'd like to call and see what their deal is. If the prices are as good as you stated, then its definitely worth the drive.

the range I've gone to handgun rental is $10 ...I've gotten 9mm's ammo was $10/50round box.....200 rounds about good 1-1.5 hrs...shooting...Lane rental was $12...
