Okay, you guys know I've been waiting for some $$ to get new wheels. Now it's almost October, and I'm wondering should I wait until the spring on not?

Also, I've been debating whether to get the OEM 18's or the Volk GT-C gunmetals. Cost is only one factor, but not controlling.

I dunno...whaddya think?

If you go aftermarket, I have heard of plenty of peeps waiting for 4-12 weeks for wheels depending on brand, size etc. Keep in mind that many people have the same idea up here (NY), wait til spring...yadda yadda. By then, everyone is looking, nothing can be found, and everything takes forever to get! I would scope that out now and see if what you like is readily available. If it's not and it'll take a few weeks, you won't care b/c they won't be going on in the winter! I would think that there might be some model changes for the coming year as well, so maybe you can save on this years model if they are in fact coming out with a newer version.
In regards to OEM, that's a crap shoot! With the new 19's coming out, people will either be looking to dump their 19's for aftermarket or our 18's (Prices will increase on the 18's then), or people will be dumping their 18's to get the new 19's (doubtful) and the cost will take a dump!
If you come across wheels you really love, snag them and hold onto them until the spring!

 

Cram: I would definitely go Aftermarket! It really personalize your G. If there is one you like now, and they have it available... I'd jump on it. At least then, you can still enjoy them for another 2months before we slap those balloon size winter tire setup.... =\

See, as a G-Squad member, I was trying to save him a lil cash flo, but because you got new shoes, now you wanna spend someone elses $$$. Man, stay away from my wallet!!! LOL JK JK!!!! It's all good, I like spending other people's money too!

 

I have the 17's now, plus some 17" snow wheels/tires. My heart says get 19" Volk GT-Cs, but Diesel1 is right...I could stand to save a buck, too. Wasn't even thinking about the new OEM 19's coming out...hmmm.

Keep the opinions coming. I 'm still thinking.

Get some hot 15's or 16's, they will look CRAZYYYY =) Nah JK, get some Volk's or something..
