ok so im on my way to class in Queens this morning...on tuesdays and thursdays i have a 730am class so im on the road at around 630 just to bare with traffic and stuff and with todays weather gave myself a little more time. I am near the end of my ride - just really depending how i feel while im on the belt parkway determines if ill take the van wyck or not to union tpke or if ill take woodhaven/crossbay blvd across to union tpke...really just depends - the van wyck is usually jammed in hte mornings (lol when isnt it) so normally i take woodhaven...like i did today...

i took woodhaven down to union...made my right onto union and im travelling down union...right before union crosses under what i guess is around Queens BLVD and the GCP there is a winding turn lined by trees...
it was pretty dark this morning considering the time and considering the weather and just add the thickness of the trees in this area to that darkness...my headlights were on so it had to be atleast that dark - but it was practically night time dark where i was...
im coming around this turning road and luckily my eyes catch sight of what is a pretty HUGE chunk of a tree lying RIGHT IN MY LANE - if i would have reacted 30 seconds later id be either in the hospital dead or crying that i need a new front end...thank god for our great brakes - i jammed and the ABS was pumping back at me and i stopped about 1ft away from the tree...after i saw i was ok in the front i looked in my rearview and saw a Jeep Liberty coming rather fast up my *** - this dude wasnt stopping before hitting me...i turned my wheel all the way to the right and just jammmmmmmmed on the gas...i didnt hit the tree in front of me and the guy behind me came INCHEs away from rearending me...
ofcourse the road was wet so nailing the gas wasnt the best thing to do but it was the only way to get out of the way in time...needless to say i fishtailed like a biaaaaaaatch and saw VDC work to its best abilities - yea i make that damn slip light blink everyday but today that thing straightened my *** right up - if not i think i woulda been in oncoming traffic, OR woulda just been spinning out of control - VDC checks a check in my book!

it was a prettying jarring experience at like 650 in the morning lol needless to say i didnt need a cup of coffee - but some fresh boxers prolly woulda been nice lol

just had to share...this was my first and hopefully last quick thinking experience in the G...well cept for almost nailing drew at the show off meet lol and almost being nailed by dimitri at the same time..

lol damn that was long - 10 mins later and a few steps closer to carpal tunnel im done lol
