Hey G-squad... i am working on getting a Toys for Tots event together, sponsored by Transport.

i was wondering if you all would be interested in doing an East Coast TFT - and give the West coast a little competition for an excellent cause? I'll get the contacts together if you are interested. Just let me know.

I am sure NYCG35 will get back to ya shortly, but it sounds like a good idea! My only concern is showing up the Transport Crew for something they put together. It wouldn't be very nice of us JK LOL!!! Seriously though, I think it's a great idea and wouldn't mind organizing a little EAST vs. West Coast fundraising competition! Only thing is, it gets a lil cold here, so we are at a slight disadvantage (No, I'm not making excuses!! LOL)

Great Idea. The only problem is that the left coast has a weather advantage. We cant run in sub zero weather and some of members dont have snow tires. At least we can use Martins large car for the transportation of the toys.

No excuses. The left coast posed a challenge and I say we rise to the occasion! As long as it isn't snowing, me and my G are down like Monica Lewinsky....well, not that down, but you know what I mean!

 

Hey guys... what we're planning is to get our members to pickup donations from their local business and friends and then bring them to a GTG in some local parking lot or business. I'll keep the info going as i receive it.... no secrets on my end 'cuz it's for a good cause!

G-squad needs to nominate a coordinator that I can exchange info and work with. Whoever that is PM see so we can exchange contact info and I'll give you the contact info for TFT in your area(s) .

Im all for it too, Ted and those west coast guys are MADDDD cool, i was gonna drive down there to go to a meet with Ted and Gurgen or a few others and a track day since WE DONT =) haha JK.... Im down, i think its a great idea!
