Comments on the Drive??
What are your thoughts peeps? I know the highways are always fun, but kinda figured this was decent cruise for this time of year. Any feedback besides not being able to go fast?

Re: Comments on the Drive??
I agree... this drive was much better than just zooming to the destination. I VERY much like the twisties... it was awesome seeing nothing but G's back and front 7-8+ each way.
I got to zoom down to Queens, so I had my freeway fix... so going thru scenery... it was very entertaining.
Chris...!! Make copies of that video!!
There are places that if you send them the mini-DV, they can make DVD's with chapter markers in it. Or you can go all out, do the editing, add Nooch's music (CD??), and make it dope!
I really hope I don't have to wait till the next meet to see the video... lol

Re: Comments on the Drive??
I am sure Neil will get to editing. Maybe what we should do is after this one and maybe the wash meet (probably nuttin great to video) we should do what u said n compile all the video footage from the 2004 season and put it on 1 DVD!!! That would be cool and sumtin we can all watch while we are in the snowy winter doldroms!!! Good idea Babie!
P.S. The view was friggin unreal from the very front!!! My rearview had well over 20 G's at several points! The worst part about being in the front is not catching everyone reaction!!! That's the best part!!!

Drew, great choice.
Taking the back roads, gave me tons of opportunities to play around with the tranny, that includes spinning and screeching my wheels at very traffic light
Excellent drive and as always, excellent meet!

Re: Comments on the Drive??
The drive at hoigher speeds would be awesome....providing the temps were little higher. I tend to be a little timid with the Michelins when the ground is cold...they just really lose alot of their bite!
But imagine if they closed off that whole stretch for us!!! OMR (oh my rod). There are def some nice dips and turns! I think 80 or so would be a real nice speed to do the twisties!!
BTW- Just an FYI - DID ANYONE ELSE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE DIRECTIONS????? CUZ our Grand PUBBA VANCE decided to start his on G line to Oyster Bay!!!

Yo Drew,
I've been through those roads before and I never even thought how great of a drive it would be for the meet! It was definitely a fun ride, besides the fact that this guy in a Volvo 850 cut in front of me and busted up the line. Whoever didn't see this guy... he tried taking a turn at 60mph and ended up in the dirt and came back on the road.. all I could do was shake my head and laugh at his stupid ***.. lol

Yea man, i agree.. You guys KNOW that i LOVE my high speed highway runs, but like ive been saying i love the back roadsa nd twisties lately, its getting my driving skill up and alot more fun then straight line acceleration now, i just wish there wasnt people slowing up the line in front lol... I also had a few good 5-10 foot burnouts, that was fun =)

Isn't it called a BURNOUT (singular) if only one wheel spins? JK JK! Yeah the twisties are fun as hell, gotta be awsome with your lowered setup!!! I wish I didn't have those 2 slow **** geezers in front of me who were taking their Sunday drive!!!

anyone wanna hit me up w/ a copy of the directions so that I can try it out . . .
