babie I was always an AMD fanatic , so I agree with you on that.. You work for them so I needed an expirienced person to agree with me , my boy is lookin to build a comp and he was contemplating intel (someone told him they were better) so he needed convincing , heh thanx

I guess Intel Marketing ($1.5+Billion/year) is doing its job then... most consumers just go with brand recognition and not knowing what they're really getting. Getting one of them right now is equivalent to saying a 330ci is faster than the G... Oh, our chips are cheaper too... only in cost tho'. [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]
If you want him to read something that'll convince him, have him pick up any publication RIGHT NOW or EDN (Electronic Design News --> People in the Industry's Magazine) gave the most innovative award (voted by "Readers" of the magazine that know their [censored]) to the Athlon64 chip... and pretty much any other publication in print or online will tell him the same. (i.e Anandtech, Tom's Hardware, Ace's Hardware, AMD Zone....)
