Hupers question ???

How long does it take for all the bubbles to disappear???? it seems like I get more and more bubbles everyday is that normal??? I thought this was supposed to be top notch film..I never ever saw so many bubbles on any one of my cars that I tinted in the past and mind you I used regular film and it cost me half of what I paid for hupers

First off D, calm your cooch!!! lol

Bubbles are normal for HO tints. Are they water bubbles or air bubbles? If they're water bubbles, you'll be fine. It took my car more than a week for all the bubbles to go away. Sit back, relax, and don't roll down your windows

If they're air bubbles, I'd go back to James and have them redo it. Now that I recall, I remember seeing some tiny bubbles on my rear window. Anyone else with Hupers have real tiny air bubbles left after drying? Sorry D for stealing your topic.. but I answered your question

Re: Hupers question ???

Chill...

Hupers took a good week to dry in the Extreme June temperatures.... so with this weather, I'd say at LEAST a week... maybe two. You'll probably notice a wet look on your rears, and that'll take a lil longer to subside.

Hupers are a MUCH thicker film that other tints, hence it takes a LOT longer to dry! If possible, I'd leave it in the sun and let some solar power dry out your film. The bubbles you're seeing is most likely water bubbles, and they'll go away.

Give it a week or so and see what happens. If anything, take it back to James and he'll fix it.

Re: Hupers question ???

I never had any bubbles in my hupers.

Rear was hazy for around a week.

If you got bubbles in the rear, try turning on rear defroster, supposedly that helps to speed up the process.

I thought about using the rear defroster but thought it might make things worse.......and its not only on the back window now
