Re: new sig test -- QUESTION

If you don't mind a short drive... drive up to White Plains. There's a place called "Todai" that's an ALL YOU CAN EAT Sushi place. It's good stuff and there's like 30+ to choose from, and all kinds of other foods. It's a BIG nationwide chain... I know, cause I use to go all the time in L.A., Beverly Center, San Jose, Hawaii... Lunch ain't that costly, but dinner's like $23 or so... but WELL worth a try... lol

Damn, I'm hungry now...

sniff, sniff. I feel the love.

Korean food is the bomb, Indian too. Sushi is ok, but doesn't mooove me. I prefer cooked food. A big fat ***@d steak, ribs...now that's good eatin'!

We have no need to go to White Plains - but nice try. There is an excellent sushi buffet in Carle Place.

Tsolin - what part of LI are you in? The best sushi bu far is at Kotobuki in Hauppauge.

babiephat, i'll look that up... the only all you can eat sushi place i've been is Minado... $23 seems about right for dinner... anyone been to East Buffet? one of the best chinese buffets i've been to...

they have a Minado in the city too which IMO is better than the one in Carle Place... that one was good when it first opened but last time i was there the sushi sucked...

Kimchee, but I don't like that stuff. It is too spicy and I just don't like the taste. I like other spicy stuff, but not that. Korean BBQ is good too.

Re: new sig test -- QUESTION

koreangrl...you blasphemer!

kimchee and those pickled bean sprouts. Korean BBQ..all that...great stuff. I love Korean also because they give you like 25 different things in small portions...it's like a big feast of small portions all of it great stuff (except those really small fishes). :-)

Hey correction guys, I said "west indian" food. Its cooked different from indian food. Indian is asian and west indian is carribbean. I love indian food also though, its pretty good. This thread is pretty useful at lunch time when you can't figure out what to eat. lol

Re: new sig test -- QUESTION

Sorry, just a little background, I grew up here in the US even though born in Seoul -- but I was not introduced to korean food till I was older. So, hence, I do not like the kimchee.

Cram: I don't like the fish either, actually I do not like seafood much at all.

My friend is the manager of Sushi Samba in Manhanttan, they have really good fresh sushi. Now I am hungry for it...going to a place in NJ for lunch today for sushi.
