**CUSTOM COMPACT JAM 2oo5*

Hey everyone. I just want to give a heads up to all you fellow G Squad members about a huge event happening in May. It is called Cars @ Carlisle: Custom Compact Jam. 2oo5 MODIFIED MADNESS!! Basically it is a HUGE car event where there are different car groups and classes and you are judged based on how your car looks, sounds, etc. Basically a modification frenzy. I want to see how many people would actually be interested in going to such an event. I have been there the past 2 years and it is INSANE!! I have yet to see any G35's and I want us to represent! It would be for the entire weekend and we could get excellent hotel rates if there are alot of us. Depending on the hotels, some give car club discounts. But linked below is all the information needed. It gives you directions, schedule of events, registration form, hotels, etc. It is held at Penn State this year which I dont think would be a bad drive if we got caravans together. Just post your ideas and feedback! Thanks. Nicole

There are security cops and such around the entire place but when you actually go there the day of to get your car judged people usually bring a bag with cameras, cleaning supplies, etc and people just leave it behind their cars or in their trunks if they have nothing in there to show off. But everyone stays near their car and if not then other people they know can watch it, so say you wanted to walk around, i am sure someone from the Squad can watch it for you. Because once judging comes around, you have to be near your car or else they wont come back for you!

Thanks for bringing it to our attention, great idea. I wonder why they pulled it off the Carlisle Fair grounds site for this year. Any of the auto events that are at Carlisle are a hot. I've been to Carlisle numberous times for the vette shows and that place draws peeps from all over the place. It's nothing like any of the shows in the area around here. It's an experience all unto itself.

This would definitely be a road trip. It looks like it's maybe 50 miles or so further west of Carlisle. I've done Carlisle as a one day trip and as a stayover. The oneday trip is very tough though. This looks like a definite stayover and if you are planning to show that would probably mean friday night for sure. The non showers could probably do an early run on saturday.

Thumbs up girl !!

Im in!

Ive been to Carlise the past three or so year...and its always a blast! Having one section of G's would be soooo hot!

Come to think of it, last year it was at Harrisburg Conv Center and there were only TWO G's there...my old G35x & Ryans(cactus) Red Coupe...

The year before that they had a silver G with Skyline badges but thats about it....All of us would definately casue a stir...

So you say its at PSU this year? That is soooo scchwwweeeet! What a great time this will be...

Yea I went last year also and I saw 2 G's there and it is not at FairField Ground anymore because it got so out of control so they moved it but I dont remember seeing any G's there.
BUT--- why don't we start a head count of who would actually go and maybe if i could get some help with calling hotels and seeing what they could do for us as a Car Club and then we can post the prices for everyone. I mean it would be better if we all stayed at one hotel but some people might have a budget and depending on if there openings because I am sure other car clubs are calling as we speak. And then if someone else wants to set up caravan lines going there. I know it is early but seriously, if we dont do this now, dont plan on going because everything will be booked and no one is going to be registered in time.

So here we go:

Where's the Philly G-Squad??? This would be a nice meet idea... have a meet the day before, then have the Squad represent at the Car Show. May sounds good cause I can chuck those 17" winter setups out the door.

G-line from Cunningham to Penn St.?? Priceless... lol

I'm down if we can get a a group of people to represent. We need to show our strength in numbers... If we get at least 15+ peeps, then I'm down. (I know it's a faux pas to say "maybe"... )

Count me in... question tho. Do our cars count as "Compact"??

Well after reading a lil more I wanna make sure it's ok with the G-Squad that I show under these pretenses. I'm not a member of any clubs yet either so is it ok if I join the bunch of you.

Hellz yeah! As always, non of our meets are gatherings are for GSQUAD members only. Sunday's meet I think we had many people who it was their first GSQUAD meet, even BEBE. That's how we grow! Our main goal is gather cool peeps who are willing to help out other peeps. We try to keep it very family like....a HUGE FAMILY. You're always welcome to hang with us, but initiation is usually giving every members car an under carriage wash! JK about the wash! It's all good! The more G's the better! Actually it's some MD crabcakes, lots of em! I know most peeps don't like them so you can just bring a few dozen for me! LOL

If you like, go to www.GSQUAD.org, fill out at an application and you will be on our mailing list for future events. Hopefully we will get a meet going with the Philly peeps in their neck of the woods which shouldn't be too far of a drive for you (hopefully!)

We got the NEW people pushin meets....that is great BEBE!!

the Philly G-Squad right now is just one member....but I'm sure she can rustle up a crew...especially if we can get the Squad up to go...
and yeah like Diesel said U are welcome to the meets Squad or not , and Mods or not....its not that kind of party....its a Family moving as a unit helpin eachother and advocating for the growth and promotion of G-Squad....

U can come wether you wanna join or not...but if you do (cause being down is always an option for U) like Diesel said ...just fill out that application and get yaself started on the road to membership!...

G-Squad grew by 5 just this past meet...
NJsFASTESTG
Axion117
H8unted
Chinkstylzz

all made G-Squad!
