how long of a drive is it guys? the 26th sounds good a day after my b-day . sounds good to me

 

Hold off with the 19", looks like it's gonna snow somewhat on Saturday. Besides, I don't need your car to draw all the attention... let me enjoy this until spring comes...

Tony - It's kinda far, but an easy drive. MacArthur is like exit 59 or 60 off the LIE. The CVS meeting point is exit 41. The mileage between the 2 is 25 miles. My boy lives off Exit 61 and on Saturday evening it usually takes me about 20 minutes maybe 25 tops to shoot out there. Really easy drive. Then we head back west to DPA which is exit 51 and let the fun begin!!! BLOWS FRANNY LEW AWAY!!!

 

How does the 26th, earlier in the day sound? Ray's suggestion was to do it the 5th, i didnt push so much for the 26th because i didnt see everyones post on here yet saying the 26th would be better. Could everyone do this earlier than planned tho? With a turnout of too little or too much in the morning would be a lot better than tryin to do everything at night, the guy ray almost seemed as if he would def. want to do it early around 9-10am on, get there when you get there until whenever everyone is done. It leaves some cushion in when you get there, if you can get there at 1 im sure people would still be there as long as the turnout is as exspected. So the the morning okay for everyone? Im going to all him again today and push for the 26th, i dont forsee it being a problem... i know he said either saturday was open.... Ill keep postin....

Dan, let's go for a cruise to warm up our cars for the Dyno's... We can meet up early in the morning, then out to LI. I'm up for whatever time...

On a more serious note though.... I'm in the middle of selling my place and moving out. depends on how things look I might be up for an early meet up and a cruise down to "treasure island"...

Okay well here is the deal: I spoke with Ray again, he said the 26th is no good I dont know what this does to all of you but it is tentativly scheduled for March 5th, 9:00am ---> until we get done.... I know some of you have work but if you can say if your gonna make it and when maybe we can have it setup where if you can go into work late or leave early well know when to exspect you and eliminate waiting around. Let me know who can make it, so far by me out of all of my friends cars theres like 5 definates..... i really hope we can get people out for this would be a lot of fun. If for some reason most cant make it I can always push it to the following saturday.... If people want to go on their own who cant make the meat its still only $65 bucks and he can schedule you in whenever..... Let me know what you guys want to do

Well just got back from the place again and some of you may not be to thrilled but i did my best to get him to come in the 26th but he said he had prior engagements and he was already taking off that day and his co-workers dont run the dyno.... I don't have a calendar in front of me and the damn computer calendar is locked... I assume the 5th is a Saturday as well... in which case it works for me.
