Dear G35's
For the meet coming up this Sunday April 10th, I hear that everyone will be meeting at the CVS parking lot. Well, take it from me, I live about 40 seconds literally from CVS. I live In Jericho and I could get to the CVS parking lot driving 30 mph in literally 40 seconds. Living here in Jericho, the old waldbaums went out of business and moved to about 1 minute away. The wauldbaums parking lot is huge and now open to everyone. There are tons of parking spots all over there, its right next to the CVS parking lot. The CVS parking lot has about 20 spots and is enclosed compared to the old waldbaums spot where it has about a 100 spots and is wide open. So maybe everyone wants to consider moving there, you have to drive your car about 2 more feet from the CVS parking lot. Let me know what everyone thinks about this switch. Just tyring to help. Thanks.

 

Thats where we always end up anyway. We need all the room we can get lol.

As Gforce has said........... the Gsquad has been there ....done that.

CVS is basicly used as a reference point not the exact spot where we are gonna specificly. In otherwords, it's in the general area.

Anyone hitting that lot ( call it whatever you want to ) is gonna know we are there for sure. As large as that entire lot is we are probably gonna be taking up every bit of available asphalt, but thanks for looking out for us, much appreciated dude.

Oh btw, being that u roll out of the rack to the shopping center, how 'bout hauling some coffee and dougnuts too....JK dude.

 

You guys know what would be an even better place...the SEARS PARKING LOT. I live in Jericho so I know all these places. IT IS HUUUUUUUGEEEEE. SO MUCH OPEN AREA ITS RIDUCULOUS. NO ONE REALLY EVER GOES TO SEARS THATS WHY IT IS ALWAYS OPEN. THERE HAVE BEEN TONS OF CAR SHOWS AT SEARS IN THE PAST. THERE IS SOOOOO MUCH OPEN AREA ITS AMAZING. EVERYONE WILL EASILY FIT IN THERE, WITH NO ONE AROUND BUT US G35'S. ESPECIALLY ON A SUNDAY, WOULDNT MATTER THOUGH, RARELY PPL SHOP THERE SO ITS AMAZING AND ITS NEAR BY. IT ABOUT 2 MILES SOUTH OF CVS, RIGHT ACROSS THE BROADWAY MALL AND ACROSS FROM IKEA, AND 2 STEPS AWAY FROM KRISPEY KREME. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THAT, ITS WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS.

We all appreciate your efforts but please don't be re-iventing the wheel on us.

A few good reasons we don't use that lot, congestion and 2 miles from the N.State and the LIE. The most important reason..... Diesel picked it

 

If it ain't broken... don't fix it. We've got this down like clockwork and have a "couple" of meets under our belts...

Changing spots last minute just creates chaos, confusion, etc...

NO offense BABYG7 ....none at all and all the G-Squad members appreciate the idea tossing...

BUT that spot is established within our club for a year now and the "old school" G-Squad originals like the ones who have answered your post and those that have attended our events and just our summer time "ROLL OUTS",
Know where that spot is and its something we do all the time....
15 Meets/events went down via G-Squad in 2004, all of which we used the same parking lot for Long Island people.....so its kinda written in stone for us.

That and the fact that our own Diesel1 picked it....LOL

but on a serious note we're not being difficult but its something we have established already...amongst other things.

 

Wait, let's get to the important thing here! BABYG you rolling with us or what!!! LOL You better be! and since you live close like me and have the most amount of time to clean, we better have the cleanest G's!!! LMAO!!!

 

Don't drive too fast Drew for those couple of blocks you gotta drive... you might hit a bug or something along the way and your car won't be spotless anymore. But if those RH wheels aren't mirror finish like with the Brembos blingin', I'd be very disappointed! lol

BabyG: Yes you are right about the parking lot. I have a job for you, because you are so near. Get there early with camera and video and take our pictures as we roll in the lot and then direct the squad to the lot next store.

But Roosevelt mall sounds promising, especially behind that old Firestone deserted building...LOL
