yea my car has about 13,000 miles on it....at first it sounded like my exhaust was loose..but now I know its definately the suspension...The dealer claims its no big deal and its not a safety problem at all...I'm going to try to get them to replace the axle for me instead of just lubricating it.

I got 8700 (and change) ....Is it loud enough or very noticable? like a kind of "when you hear it there will be no mistaking it" kind of sound?

Sportin try to go to Atlantic and see what they tell you...(unless I should go get a late pass cause you already went there...LOL)

SO the lube retorque job is BS temp fix huh....hmmm good to know...

I wonder why it does that crap....

I also wonder if there are any changes on the 05, besides the interior and no brembos?....if they touched up some of the non-sense us 03 and 04 peeps have delt with.

 

my ride is in the shop right now for new sterio (cd player died) and new rear axle. ill let you guys know how it turned out.

vance you'll definitely notice it if you drive slowly with the stereo off and the windows down....

as you slow down you'll hear a low but noticeable creaking sound like a "pop pop pop"... at least that's what mine is doing now

i need to go in for service soon.... between the rear axle noise and my headunit issues, i'm getting aggravated

 

Same problem here, although I havent had much time to take my ride in for service. It is 100% the axle! It sounds like a suspension issue, but in fact if you lift the end of your car up and rotate "the problem side" wheel back and fourth you'll see its coming from the axle. From what I've been hearing its a common problem on G's and most dealers are able to get the job done in a day or two (considering they do not need to order any damaged parts).

 

yup my dealer ordered an axle for me and had it done the next day (today). gotta go pick up my car soon!

You got that sh*t right. I m ridin around with a window that doesn't go down and if it does it won't go back up. My window doesn't close completely when I get out the car. I mean how ghetto does it look pullin up to the toll booth and/or drive through in a g35 and openin the door cuz the window don't go down and if it does you probably won't be able to get it back up. I m so sick of that crap its unbelievable. Then lets not even start with the headunit and the fact that its a piece of sh*t. Yet with all this crap, havin trucks and cars showin luv on highways, peoples stoppin just to say the ride is proper can make these harsh feelins easily go away. However f that, I m still pissed. How am I supposed to wash my car with out water goin in cuz f-in window doesn't close completely...Oh yea them axels is crazy lol

LOL - I have a caravan thats gots a screwed up window and I gotta open the door at toll boths, but atleast with caravan no one laughs . . .

 

i'm taking mine in thurs....here is the link for the TSB, i'm going to print it out and bring it with me when i roll over there so they don't try to jerk me with just lubricating it
