Yakuza Rearend ON!

Well after a full night of prep work, and a weekend at the body shop being sprayed, I finaly got a chance to fit and install my Yakuza (Kenstyle replica) rearend on today, and I'm quite happy with the "end results" (no pun intended). Unlike my Greddy body parts, the Yakuza required quite a bit of prep work and did not line up "out of the box." I had to sand, fill, and repair a number of spots on the bumper. The savings (value of the replica) compared to the real deal, was worth the extra time and effort.

I'm still waiting on my mesh grills to come in for the rear. It just doesnt look right without the mesh....

A HUGE thanks goes to John for helping me out with this rearend! I know these pics are killing ya, but I just had to post them. Don't worry, you'll get your car soon enough, how long has it been again... LOL... Just kidding!

Just got done installing black mesh into the rear and mounted up the plate bracket and light. Looks nice! IMO still can see too much into the rear (chassis and all) so I may have to come up with some sort of black plate to mount behind the vents (directed down) to hide it all. I'll post some more pics tomorrow...

I had the same issue with my first install of the mesh on the rear bumper... The mesh was showing too much of the bumper brace... I orderd a smaller diameter mesh that was black powdercoated .... now the only way you can see inside is if you put your face less than a foot away from it looking directly into it...otherwise hides all the innerds very well.
