Any ideas or know of great:

2. clubs/ night life
3. things to do, go see, so forth

etc. etc.

depends on what you are into...

there are so many places to hit in NYC.

what kind of music/food do you like or do you just want to hit the bars....honestly just go into any one of them. Meat packing district is always hoping at night. For food and bars. Probably the best place to start.

BBQ place to hit would be Vigrils or Blue Smoke in midtown.

To add to the scenery, go to the Brooklyn Promenade, which is opposite from South Street Seaport and next to the Brooklyn Bridge. You can get some kickass pics of the city skyline with the Brooklyn bridge. I'd also go to Central Park, you can get some R&R away from the city for a couple of minutes and hit some of the fountains or do a paddle boat ride through the ponds. Turtle Pond is also a cool place with the "castle" that overlooks it. On either side of Turtle Pond are the Museums of Natural History and Modern Art. (80's West and East side respectively) Those are the typical places I'd hit for some relaxation, so do what works for you.

+1 to Balzac, don't forget about the central park zoo.

Restaurants: Blue Water Grill in Union Square for seafood! Awesome! Great Sushi too

Lucky Cheng's is great with a bunch of people if you really wanna see a show (all the "waitresses" are dudes in drag. Supposedly everyone has a good time and lots of laughs when they go there.

The Rainbow Room for drinks - Pricey but a great view of the city high ontop of the NBC building in Rockefeller Center

Steaks - SPARKS Steak House - Great food and awesome steaks in Manhattan. Site of the notorios hit on Paul Costellano by John Gotti and his crew.

BBQ - If you are from Texas, I doubt anything could come close!

Sushi - NOBU or Nobu next door if you can't get into Nobu

Tons of bars along 2nd Ave from the 30's-50's most in the 50's

Empire State Building - I believe it closes down at 10PM - Great views although I have never been up there personally

South Street Seaport - Mall, restaurants etc

Chelsie Piers - You name it they got it! Driving range, ice rinks, bowling, etc

Bowling - Bowlmar Lanes in Union Square

Circle Line cruise around Manhattan - Pricey but cool, may want to try to do an evening cruise!

Meat Packing District - great A list clubs and celebrity hot spots. Very $$$$ If you don't have a hot girl with ya, it may be tough to get in.

Normal Food - Inside the Le Parker Meridian Hotel (I think it's around 57th n Lexington) there is this place called "THE BURGER JOINT" - Great place for burgers n fries! Get a brownie too and try a milkshake which they don't serve at peak noon hours (11-1 I think)

Try www.citysearch.com for more details and places on everything

Dessert - Serendipity 3 on the east side (63 b/w 2nd n 3rd I think) Homemade ice cream to die for! Try the cinnamon ice cream with a wedge of apple pie, caramel and I think crushed graham cracker or the frozen hot chocolate!

If you like peanut butter n jelly - there is a place in the villiage that only makes PB&J in every variation you can think of!

Lunch Hour - pick up something quick near Bryant Park (44th n Madison I think) HOTTIES gallore!!!

Nudey Bars - Scores East & West, Penthouse Club, Hustler Club - My advice is to never pay the cover (usually $30 via credit card).

Shopping - SoHo and the village, 5th Ave if you are a balla! LOL

It's the city that doesn't sleep, so while here, ya better not!!! LOL

Give us a shout right before you leave and maybe will get a lil G cruise into Manhattan for ya!

P.S. For clubs etc. PM DJNOOCH and he may be able to hook ya up at the hot spots!

No sweat man! It only takes 2 G's to get the ball rolling. As you grow, it makes it that much easier to get more! Peeps see a bunch of G's traveling in a back and heads turn!!! It sparks interest and it's off like a wildfire! Houston has to have some G's!!!!
