I know most of you are not into cone dodging but thought i'd bring it up never the less.

AutoX is this Saturday at Nassau Collesium JULY 30th. I"m going to run so thought i'd see if anyone else is wants to join up. The AutoX is held by BMW club and you can run any car you want. They classify the cars differently then SCCA does but still the same priciple.

For those who wants to go let me know. Registration and tech inspection starts at 7:30 - 8:30 and cars are out at 10am. Price is $40

So who is in with me.

August 7th Autocross at Nassau Coliseum Dog days of summer

September 18th Autocross at Nassau Coliseum The Equinox

If anyone is interested in those, lets see if we can swing it.

 

i was at the july 10th meet at the coliseum.

ill be there at the august 7th.

there were no other Gs running although some did run last season.

it would be sweet to see some other Gs there the 7th even if they are just watching.

I looked a tthe PCA site and seems to me there is no pre registration, so you would have to pay at the event.

Lets hear some responses and see if we can get this going... dont wanna be the only one there .... again

Only thing i dont get is... i dont see anywhere the time you have to be there for inspection and if you have to pre register or you can do it the day of the event.

No, you're not blind dude . . . it's just hidden in the rules:

Schedule

All participants must arrive on time and register prior to the published close of registration.

NO CARS or DRIVERS WILL BE REGISTERED AFTER 9:00 AM

7:00 Site Opens

7:45 - 8:30 Registration

8:15 - 9:15 Tech Inspection (put numbers on car and clean out loose items prior to tech). Drive to the tech inspection area. Cars that are not tech inspected or do not pass tech will NOT run.

8:45 - 9:00 Late Registration

9:15 - 9:30 Drivers Meeting (all drivers must attend)

9:30 - 9:45 Novice Drivers Meeting (all novice drivers must attend)

10:00 First Car Off (Running Order will be decided by coin toss.)

3:30 approx. Trophy Ceremony

All drivers are required to stay at the event for its duration. If you cannot stay for the entire event, please do not register to participate. If you must leave the site for any reason prior to the trophy ceremony, you must advise the Autocross Chairman before leaving.

I'm pretty much in for this event. Let me know if you guys wanna go for sure. Also if you want to meet up prior to going there or just all meet there. Would be nice to have a few G's rolling in together.
