Yes folk this is another Auto-X event. There is a total of 4 left in NYC area. Last time i saw 4 G's there, hoping we can get more people to participate this time.

Location: Nassau Collesium in Uniondale.
This event is provided by BMW club, but other cars can participate as well.

Come on folks i dont feel like being there alone... plus its nice to see a few G;s being put through the paces. Who is in?

There are actually 4 more events including this one. one is on the 18 the other is in october 1 and september 27 or 28 if i'm not mistaken.

I'll try and be at all of them. Just to tie me over till next year track days. I'm not into cone dodging much but its still fun.

how was the bmw club and crowd compared to the pca ax?

 

it was drizzling in the morning, so the crowd was small. We could have gotten 10 runs in easy. but there were soo many newbies there, and they had problems with clock that the morning runs took about 2-3 hrs. Way longer then it had to be.

No other Gs there was a 350Z 6mt there but i wasnt sure what he ran. BMW guys are pretty cool, I saw same faces and cars as i did from the PCA event.

I think PCA guys are a bit more organized. Hopefully next event i'll see some Gs there. best time of the day was 44.7 by a m3 coupe(prof. driver) i did best 51.7
