Any squad members do a double din conversion?

i may be getting a good price on an AVIC-N1 and therefore i'd wanna go with a double din set up - anyone do it here?

is it hard?

this pends the purchase of the "good deal" on the AVIC but its a thought

It's cake, just takes some time taking off all the trim pieces to get to the radio trim out. Just take your time and remember what you took off, and where is goes back on.

 

wheres the best place to buy the DD set up?

 

I know Grubbs sells a pre-cut center console for a D2 conversion. Much cleaner than trying to cut it by hand.
