Well everyone, just figured I would post up since no one else did but it has been spoken about alot via phone, text messages, IM, drunk convo's etc. Well, from an outsiders view, many will look at the pics n posts here and be like, hey it looks like they had fun. A bunch of friends all hangin out and getting SH1TFACED together. I would like to set the record straight and just give everyone else who wasn't there the real deal.

Going into this, the "group" wasn't really tight. For the most part, most peeps may have recognized faces, but that's about it. Sure, a few of us are more friendly then others but for the most part, we had 15 "strangers" getting together, several really meeting for the first time. The weekend could have been a complete disaster! Try coordinating 15 people together to make plans, eat, etc especially in a casino where phone reception is non-existent, peeps staying at different hotels, etc. Keep in mind, these were all 15 different people. I don't think there was a duplicate personality in the bunch!

I think it's pretty friggin remarkable that we all got along and had one kick *** time! Basically 15 strangers, who met via the internet essentially, all over a common bond of the G35! Now the car show was cool, but hangin with everyone before and after was even better. It was great to see such a diverse crowd have so much fun. Even when peeps brought their "boys" into the mix, we had an even better time!!!

All I gotta say is that this weekend was off the friggin chain and as Jon, aka Pearlcoupe, would say...."We godder' dun"!!!

Ditto to what Diesel said. It was totally awesome that we all gelled this weekend and I can't wait to do it again.

 

Couldn't have said it better... it was honestly an amazing weekend and felt like we were all boys since grammer school... cracking jokes, makin fun of each othere and no one ever blinked or got mad... one of the best weekends i have ever had in all honesty... thanks y'all

 

My thoughts exactly!

I didnt expect the weekend to go as well as it did...no issues, problems, or clashes between anyone. We all got along just fine - no azzholes, no "take chargers" that ruin stuff, and no thieves jacking our G's while we were bombed at the Borgata.

Overall, that was THE BEST Car show, meet, G-Squad thingy, etc that ive ever been involved in...it is now the standard by which all other gatherings will be judged against...

Everyone of you who was there are not only my fans - but you are now all my friends! (Shooter in Happy Gilmore haha)

And next time your out partying - give a nice loud "GIT ER DONE" for me!

Heres a short list of things that happened...in no particular order...

- Rolled in and got a prime location in the show near the main stage
- cars were all super nice and super clean
- watched Lambos n Ferraris roll in...
- went to Hooters
- Drank Beer ate wings
- hit on waitresses (who came to find us the next day at the show!)
- Brian got Oysters! LOL
- Faked birthdays (well, one at least)
- Got drunk at the B Bar at the Borgata
- Lost money playin craps
- watched the clock hit 4am
- Rocked Country Music on my IPOD in my room
- Saw Miss Hot Import Nights in the hallway (Jason u lucky mo fo)
- Some of us puked all over the Sheraton and the Borgata
- tons of shots
- tons of beers
- Slept a lil
- cleaned cars again
- Show started, crowds rolled in - errrryone jockin the G's (and Z)
- Butt cheeks were hangin out all over the place
- National G Guys stopped by (whaddup Brain and John)
- All the Cars at the show looked sickkk
- Applebees was good to us - beers were flowin'
- Nobody won shiit
- Team Emotion rules the world..."team emotion....team emotion....team emotion"
- We rolled out of the show
- Parking was a breeze - we all found spots right in a row in about 20 seconds!!! LOLOL
- showers
- VIP at the Borgata (3 tables + 4 Bottles of Grey Goose)....
- Booda was in the zone!
- Lots of cigs being burned
- Bottles of Grey goose were all of a sudden gone????? Empty?
- Bachelorette Parties!!!
- Dance floor
- Roullette table with old women...up a lot - then down - then it was 6am
- Some rolled - some passed out and missed checkout (heh heh heh)
- All got home SAFE

Did i miss anything?????????

 

U forgot Ducati having to drive from CT to Newark to pick up his hood that was supposedto arrive Thursday and didn't. Drove back to CT, installed said hood, finsihed at 5:30AM finished up car the drove to LI, caravanned out and partied like a rock star friday nite despite praying to the porcelin gods in the borgota!

 

ahhh, i forgot about that.....he is one of my idols! Anyone named Jonathan, owns a G35, and gets chicken strips at Hooters in allright with me!

Jon, nice recap kid. Diesel, couldn't have said it better. Although I missed Friday, I must say I agree with all the sentiments shared in this thread. Had a great time w/ everybody and will definately remember this weekend for some time to come.

Met a lot of great people and got to know some people I'd met before better.

Even more importantly, I picked up a new catch phrase . . . "Git'er done", lol.

Jon good lookin out on hosting my bags in your room while I was at the show, Diesel good lookin out on the wristband for the show, and Coupin/Angie/Diesel good lookin out on letting me crash [and burn] in your room. Adam and Brian good lookin' out on setting up the night at the mixx.

The only downpoint for me was sunday mornin' and the drive home. Well worth it nonetheless.

We definitely gotta do it again next year!!

I think the biggest difference between hanging out with da boys this past weekend and all the other meets is... the alcohol. Since all our meets are Alcohol free (as it should be! no DUI's please...!), they're generally chill. This allowed us to do whatever the fukk we wanted, and just had a great time.

 

Nice recap Drew...you only left out the part where you all LEFT ME BEHIND on the caravan in for the THIRD TIME that GSquad has done this to me. Thank you Drew for pulling over and waiting. I had an awesome time Friday night at B-Bar. You guys got me wasted!!! I had a great time at the show as well. I can't wait to do it all again next year. This time everyone will book fr enough in advance to all stay at the borgata?????

 

Well said Drew. I did have a great time with the whole gang. I really wished i could have gone out at night with you guys. I was tired and the ball and chain was sick. So no party for me We sure as hell have to do this again!

Booda do you remember telling me at 10am on sunday how "drunk" you still were? LOL
