Just put my 2k mile on my 6mt sedan and I can't wait to see some of the hot *** Gs on the web site in person. I'm down in central NJ and I am 50mins from Philadelphia and 1 hour from Manhatten so It should be easy for me to make some meets.

Question: The Circuit City that I work at on the weekends is having a car show on Sunday, October 23 to benifit Hurricane Katrina and I wanted to know if you guys would be interested? Kicker is going to be there giving out prizes and metering a SPL drag comp. It is $15 (100% to Katrina) to show and an extra $5 to do the SPL drag. 3 people that work there have Gs (two coupes and my sedan) and we would love to see you guys come down and represent. I know you guys with the TTs and the Kenstyles would sweep the prizes...Everone has rice down here!

If enough of you guys are interested I will try get them to make a special category for "best G" or something like that.

We could walk next door and take over the TGIF bar to watch the Sunday games during the show and maybe do a little partying afterwards.

Lastly, I want to get H&R springs after I get my next paycheck and I wanted to know how much MRC would charge to get them for me and throw them on. Anyone know a ballpark figure?

The CCity is in Bridgewater, NJ. It shouldn't be hard to get there, we are on the Somerville circle where routes 202, 206 and 28 converge. We are only 1 mile from route 287 (20mins from where it catches the turnpike and the parkway) and route 22 (30mins from Union/Springfield/Newark area). The address is 711 State Route 28 Bridgewater, NJ 08807 . Can't wait to see your IP w/kenstyle!

Aside from this show, there is a scenic overlook off of 78 around exit 33 (50mins outside NYC) that would be an awesome place for a future meet as it offers free space and beautiful backdrops for pictures.

 

I have a Panasoic FZ20 and unlimited access to memory cards so I will be sure to take a few hundres pics. I am going to try to get my hands on one of our Canon 20D displays to take some even better pictures of everyone's whips.

The problem with that is I am afraid that everyone would be looking for a hook up and it would become a drain on my time However, I do get direct accomodations (between 40% and 70% off retail) with Infiniti, Harmon Kardon, Polk Audio (RTI 12 towers for $500/pair retail for $1400 last time I checked the web site), kicker, MTX and monster cable. I can't order a ton of stuff because I will get fired but if I can help a couple of people out, I will - obviously, if they could return the favor and hook me up on G goods or something else

Ok, I don't want to open the flood gates, but since you already have a system, I'll get you the price on the CSI 5 and I will try to put other loose pieces together from other people so it looks like a complete order. I am going in to get my new scedule on thursday so I will try to check it for you then if I remember. I was going to do two RTI 12's and a CSI 5 (i'm into stero, I don't care about surround) and I think that the CSI 5 was something like $180 accomodation but let me just double check that for you. We might be able to work this out because whoever gets all the other stuff could take your csi 3 off of you for a complete system.
