Transfering to NY G Squad...
Hey Guys,
Just thought I would post up. Looks like I am going to be officially a New Yawker again and for that matter part of the NY G Squad, although I will still help with the PA G Squad.
I got a job in the city at Lehman Brothers and start at the end of November.
So for now, I will keep my residence in Philly but be in NYC during the week. I am so excited and very glad to be making this change in my life.
So for those of you who care, just thought I would share.
Sorry, didn't mean to rhyme there.
Now I know, I shouldn't have an excuse to come to more meets because of the distance. All I have to do is find a place in Jersey though, as I refuse to get rid of my car. My insurance is actually cheaper for Fort Lee and the surrounding area then down here in Philly.

Welcome back to North Joisey! If you want a cooler place to live and dont mind the premium price I would suggest Hoboken/Newport/Jersey City. Easy commute to the city and lots of 20-30ish people. Right now I am living in Cliffside Park and my commute to midtown is 50mins door to door. It is about 25mins via bus to get to the Port Authority. I like where I am living now but I am strongly considering moving to Hoboken/Jersey City mid next year.
Anyways, congrats on the new job (I also work in the financial sector) and welcome back to little Seoul.

Thanks guys! I am really excited about it, of course though nervous about starting at a new place too. I will miss my job here in Philly as it is really the best job I have had so far. BTW, I am looking for someone to replace me, so if you guys know anyone, send them my way via PM or IM.
Since I am not moving up to NYC until January or so, I will be doing the reverse commute. I am actually looking for a temporary place for the end of November, December and part of January, just during the week. I will be up in NYC Sunday afternoons or so and then go back to Philly after work on Fridays. If anyone knows anyone or anyplace, please let me know. Trying to save money, but can offer some and/or cleaning and cooking as well.
Ideal would be close to the 166 Bus Route off Broad Avenue in NJ or near the 1 and 9 subway line in Manahattan. My job is at 49th & 7th Ave.
Thanks again everyone!
