I'm sitting here at work, staring out the window and thinking about winter and the miserable weather we've been suffering from lately, when I realize how it's been a while since the last time we just BSed online about anything and everything . Just like mother nature, the Squad has been in winter hibernation. Everyone is hiding inside and no one really shows his/her face during this time of the year.

So I thought to myself: Why not wake up everyone and see what you guys are up to. What's new with the car, with you, your life, or whatever....

So....

What's up everyone? show your face and tell us what's going on with you.

I'll begin by saying that nothing is really new with the car other than a new set of A/S tires and a nice scratch I manage to decorate the car with...
Other than that, nothing is really new. Finally moved in to the new house and living on boxes. Having a nice big garage for the G is priceless though! No more freezing cabin in the morning or scraping overnight snow and ice!

The G Squad section has been very quite. A lot of peeps are M.I.A.. We need to have some kind of MEGA MEET. Get everyone to come out.

Haven't driven my G since I got back from New Year's... I got a Honda CR-V as my "beater". *sigh* It does get me 26mpg, I can use cheap gas, my insurance went down, and it's 4WD...

So today... I decided to take the G out of hiberation and drove it today to work since it was such a nice day... Wow, what a difference. lol

I too, like Dan, have been living out of boxes... fun huh??

I agree that it's been really really dead on the Gsquad boards... it feels like last winter all over again. Can't wait till Spring, and we'll definitely need to setup some nice driving/cruising meets when the weather gets warm..

nothing really new with me, going back to school in about a week....which sucks.....my xtec hids blew and i had to put oem hid back, car is dirtier than ever(have no choice but to bring it to the carwash every so ofter, i cant wait until its nice out and my car being extra clean)....saving some money to do couple of mods for the summer.....thats about it

 

Congrats bro! A new car (I wouldn't consider a CR-V a beater exactly ) AND a new house. Way to go!

Hmmmm, well I am around. Just working and commuting and working. LOL I miss driving my G, but at least she is sitting in Philly in the garage and not rackin up the miles.

The new job is going well. I may be moving in with a friend in Jersey City, just nothing final yet, so will not jinx myself yet. Looking forward to the 3-day weekend coming up and going boarding on Sunday (let's hope the weather holds out).

I am really thinking about the 07 G, luv it! So, what do I do with the "extras" on my leased car right now? I guess, I need to sell the stuff and take off, and put it back to stock. I figure I'll have to leave the front lip oem bumper on as it will look retarded if I remove it. Let me know what you guys think? The other little stuff is easy to take off (i.e. kickplates, exhaust, pedals, etc.).

 

What's up Shelah!? Congrats on the crib speedo! Counting the days till spring cause I have only put on 20 miles in the last 2 months! I just ordered some detailing products and I'm going to start the 3 step process tomorrow. Clay, polish, then wax with P21S. I can't believe how good the 07 looks but I wonder how close it will be to the concept in production? I'm thinking about getting a Porsche in a few years since the 911 has been my dream car since I was 12. My friend just bought one and it is eating at me so we shall see. Anyway hopefully we can all hang sometime soon and swap some lies!

my G has its boring-a$$ 17's on. I do need some new tires though so that may be in the near future. Nothing else fun going on there...

as for whats up in my life now. not much just school and work. I started my second semester of law school this past monday and im just trying to get myself back into the groove. I got my grades from first semester and I did very well (or decent) I dunt know whats good and bad in law school just yet honestly so we'll see...

And thats really it...not much fun going on here...

But I too can't wait for the weather to get better so we can have a nice cruise/meet...i miss the G Squaders and now theres A LOT more!

Yeah , well we dont have a winter spot this year ...is kinda I guess why we are all been quiet.

I have been working on the house and settling in...been doing some chit chattin with sponsors and stuff...

The G has been hibernating also...She's locked up and has seen some road time just to stretch her legs maybe once every 2 weeks or so...

I had DD hook her paint up so I'll be all shiney "BAM"! red for the first spring time meet. Some more member profiles should be up soon....NOOCH got some pics over to us..

Basically thats about it...working and just trying to enjoy life!
