Pics from NY Auto Show Today
i got a chance to check out the NY Auto show today. disappointed that Infiniti wasn't showing the new Coupe Concept or the new GT-R (or if they were, i couldn't find them in 3 hours). i did get some pics of the new Sedan though
hate to say it... but every car that really got me excited was American made.... the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, Saleen Mustang, the Saturn Sky, the Dodge Challenger, and ESPECIALLY the Chevy Camaro Concept. (i've been a closet Camaro fan since i was a kid, i always wanted an electric blue '68 or '69 with white stripes... the concept car has alot of flavor from those late 60's models)
Dodge showed off a really cool pickup truck concept called the Rampage, which included a fold out ramp up to the cargo bed and seating inside that folded flat into the floor so you could store more stuff in the cabin too. the Saleen F150 and the new Harley Davidson F150s were both nice. Ford showed a pickup truck concept called the Super Chief that was honestly the biggest damn truck i've ever seen... i couldn't even get the whole thing in the viewfinder of my camera.
Chrysler is trying to give Maybach and Rolls a run for their money with their Imperial concept. the thing was monstrous, gigantic grill, suicide rear doors, and plush insides. i did like the new Evo X concept from Mitsubishi... i'd buy one for sure lol. the Audi RS4 was also impressive although i wish it was unlocked... the interior was sprinkled with bits of carbon trim it looked sweet. Toyota/Lexus was pimping their new hybrids like crazy... there had to be at least 15 Lexus RX400h hybrid SUV's around.
