WAAYY overpriced
FS 2001.5 Santorin Blue Audi S4 Twin Turbo!
Hey guys, I want to help my friend out selling his S4. The car is a sick car. for starters... It has a brand new engine and brand new turbos. I was thinking about selling my G and replacing it with his S4, but I couldn't let my G go!

Background...
He put about 70k on the car. The oil pan cracked and leaked out all the oil. This happened under normal use, not hard driving or racing. Audi warrantied the oil pan, but basically said FU about the engine and turbos when they blew because the car was out of mileage warranty. Luckily, his friend out in california was able to warranty everything with an aftermarket warrenty. A brand new S4 engine was put in and brand new stock turbos were put in. I believe that there are about 4-5 thousand miles on the new engine and turbos. Those miles were put on driving back from Cali and some summer driving once he got it back.

It is a Stage 1 S4. Basically means it has an HIAC chip in it. Other than that, it is completely stock.

Reason for selling:
It is his third car. He still has a couple payments left on it and it is only costing him money to keep it. He also has it fully insured still. He has a lot of money invested in it and would like to invest elsewhere. He would like to sell it fairly soon, but at the right price.

The car is in GREAT condition. It is currently not covered under any warranty. Although, you can pick up an aftermarket warranty very easily and cheap.

Car is basically fully loaded minus nav and phone.

The KBB on the car is as follows...
for the average S4 of 70k miles: $19,530

The key thing about this car is the brand new motor and turbos. A new engine and turbos for it would run upwards up $12k+

Little problems I know of:
The left rear shock needs to be replaced, BUT it WILL BE replaced before it is sold.

The car has never been in an accident that i know of. It was stolen once, but quickly recovered. (someone just wanted to go joyriding for an afternoon)

The VIN number is:
WAURD68D11A140573

He is asking $24,250 for it, but If you would like to make a reasonable offer, I will see if I can work something out.

Also, it is a 6mt!

Thanks in advance for your inquiries.

-Tom

EDIT: I talked to him about lowering the asking price today and talked him into it. He is losing money with payments and insurance and would like to sell it quicker. His new asking price is $22,900. I hope someone takes advantage of this car!

my salvage? sorry my buddys car is not a salvage, although the question of what is so wrong with your car comes into question, seeing as you have been soooooo eager to get rid of it..but I love how you tried to scam people into doing a straight trade for a G or basically any other car... tryin to take people on here for their G minus the +$5,000 dif between their car n yours? not cool bro

Yeah, lets see you want $25,500 for your junker... and whereas your resell value is $18,442 and you want to straight up trade yours for their +$25,000 coupe as an even trade?... I don't think so pal. Sounds like a SCAM to me.

Actually I did not buy the car. I love my G too much to get rid of it. If I did buy it I would have said I bought it and that I was selling my S4, but that is not the case. Stop making pompous Assumptions.

The carfax on my friends S4 is clear, unluck your wreck.

The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions.

"Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. This vehicle has never had any paint or body work and is free of rust. The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. The engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects. The vehicle also has complete and verifiable service records. Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.
