Up for sale is my 93 touring montego blue Rx7 5 speed manual w/ tan interior and sunroof. I've driven the car daily since the day I got it and I've had no problems at all! The car was tuned by Steve Kan earlier this year for 12psi boost and is making 300 whp and 270 tq. The car currently has 50,0xx miles. The car has good compression and a clean carfax report. When getting tuned earlier this year, Steve Kan himself commented on how good the motor sounds and other members there did as well.

I have a ton of receipts for the car for work that I've done and work done from the previous owners, and I even have the window sticker for the car. Oil changes done every 2k miles with valvoline 20w50 and car has been garaged and pampered since I've owned it. Recently installed new NGK Spark plugs heat range 9, new drilled/slotted rotors all around, new Hawk HPS brake pads all around, new oil change & filter, coolant flush, and new redline transmission fluid.

There are no idle problems, no oil leaks, no tranny grinds..

how do you smog this car since california has strict emission test?

still has stock cats.. had to swap in the stock ecu and have the smog shop look the other way for the intake and intercooler

Those things are so awesome. I love that beep it makes before redline - it is really cool.

That asking price is a little steep I think. The fact that it was tuned by one of the best rotary tuners is great but for over 18k i would expect upgraded twins or a single setup on a fresh reman and R1 or R2 package. Its a clean car but I just cant seeing a touring MB with tan interior and basic mods being almost 19k. Anyway, good luck with the sale, FD's are amazing cars i dont plan on ever selling mine!

I bought one from my buddy all done up and blew the smaller turbo within a month and ended up not keeping it.... my other friend has his in the garage, where it's been for the last 5 years!! widebody and pushing 500whp thanks to a massive Greddy turbo.... these things are so unreliable, but it was my first love of a car I ever had .... beautiful indeed

 

Unreliable???? only if you don't know how to tune it...or know someone who can tune it. I've owned 8 RX7's and have never blown a motor. I've made over 300 passes at the track with no engine problems.

Clean looking car...not sure about the price but GL with the sale.
