FWIW it took me until January of my first year of college to sell my used car Private Party. Since it was heavily modded it required the right buyer. Patience paid off as I got an excellent price for it.
If your parents are willing to keep it parked at your house and are willing to try to sell it for you, that's what I would do. The trade-in hit is too big.

yea I really dont want to trade it in or part it out but it seems like there are so many cars for sale did you sell yours through here or autotrader?
