Hello,

I've decided to put my G37 up for sale in order to pay off some debt. It was purchased in February of 2008 and I am the only owner. It is an Athens Blue Sport 6MT with Nav, Premium, Spoiler, Illuminated Kickplates, Splash Guards, Cargo Net, and Trunk Mat. Total MSRP was $42,895. It basically has everything but Tech and 4WS, which was exactly the way I wanted it. I have added the following mods:

-Magnaflow catback exhaust (have the stock also and can switch if desired)
-35% window tint (max legal in Virginia, not very dark)
-Blue Batmobile's headlight and taillight overlays (GTR-style)

The car has 13,513 miles as it sits, and I drive it to work. It is garaged every night. Oil was changed to Mobil 1 Synthetic at about 9K (the third change), and was recently changed again with the same. Tires are at about half-tread life on the front, maybe slightly less on the rear. Original window sticker, both key fobs, and all manuals are of course included. Let me say that my personal expectations in purchasing a used car are very, very high. Therefore, in interest of full disclosure, the vehicle does have a few cosmetic exterior flaws, such as slight wheel curbage, a few rock chips, a door ding, and a scuff on the underside of the front bumper on the driver's side (see attached pics for the worst of these issues). All of these "issues" could be fixed for a few hundred dollars, I would imagine, and as such my price is negotiable. None are visible from a distance, and as such, I never bothered to fix them.

It took some doing to get this car, and I have seen that the Athens is a VERY rare color. Just for kicks, I did a search on Autotrader to find other Athens 2008 6MT's. NATIONWIDE, out of 117 listings for 6MT's, there were TWO. I know the color may not be everyone's cup of tea, but many find it very desirable and I feel it should therefore command a slight premium. It certainly sparkles in the sun like no other.

I also checked the KBB values, which surprised me. Private Party excellent is $37,195. Good, which mine may be closer to due to worn tires and chips/scuffs, is $35,395. I realize that this may be high, and not a perfect indicator. I also know several similarly optioned and mileage cars have gone in the low 30's recently. However, add in the mods which collectively were over a grand, and the fact that Athens Blue is darn-near IMPOSSIBLE to find (at least on the used market), and I think my asking price of $33,750 is very fair. I will always entertain offers, but I plan on holding out for my price (or very near) for awhile. What that means is offering me $30K is a waste of both of our time.
