Car is sold. Sale price was $6400 if anyone is wondering what their car is worth

For Sale is my 2005 G35 6MT Sedan. I bought this car eight years ago with less than 30k miles on it and it has been the best car I've ever owned. Its practical, relatively quick, handles well and is dependable. Other than a sticky brake caliper that was repaired under warranty, I have done nothing to this car other than routine maintenance.

The car is stock with the exception of a Motodyne spacer (5/16 I believe) and tint on the rear and all side windows. Both were installed by the original owner. I do not know what brand or % the tint is, but I do know that it has held up great with no peal, scratches or bubbles. Its fairly dark which is great in the CA summer and while I'm sure it's illegal, I have never been pulled over for it. I also installed an OEM XM/sirius kit that works with the factory head unit.

Exterior is in good shape for a 10 year old Daily Driver. There are a few scratches and dings which I tried to show in the pictures as best as I could. Of note is the rear bumper cover that has some deep scratches from a shed door that fell on it. Also, 2 "big" chips in the drivers side front fender that have been touched up. Wheels have a couple small scratches but I've done my best to touch those spots up. All wheels are nice and straight. The tires have just been rotated with 4/32 remaining on the fronts and 6-7/32 on the rears.

The interior also looks nice for a car with 130+k miles. There is a barely noticeable crack in the leather on the drivers seat near the seat belt buckle which I forgot to take a picture of, but I will post soon. Otherwise the seats are in great shape. The leather on both the steering wheel and shift **** are a little worn.

FYI I do not have any service records as I do my own maintenance but Oil and filter are changed every 4k miles, trans and diff fluids are changed every 30k and were most recently changed at 120k. Of note, the car is still on the original clutch but it is not showing any signs of needing replacement and does not slip at all.

Edit: Car is currently registered in PA and I have the PA title in hand. The car has never been smogged but I have no doubt that it would pass CA smog standards. If the buyer wants, we could make the car passing a smog check a condition of sale.

Thanks Scraggle. For its age it's in great shape and based on Autotrader, I think it's a fair price but only time will tell.

 

Man, if only I didn't have my sedan. I've got the same year, and everything but with 200k miles. Very reliable car! good luck
