Question for you 6MT owners who got the $80 trunk mat. What is the difference betweent the regular trunk mat and this option? My dealer says that starting 2006 they no longer have the infiniti logo. Just wanted to confirm with others.

None of the mats on my 06 sedan have logos including the trunk mat. If you look under them you can still find "INFINITI" stamped in the rubber...

 

The trunk mat in my '05 coupe has the Mt.Fuji logo and the INFINITI embossed on it.

 

All of the mats, including the trunk mat, in my '06 coupe had the Mt. Fuji logo on them.

 

Not worth it IMO, I got an 05 mat with the mr fuji logo on it. If you don't get the option it just comes with a plain one. you never see it anyways.

 

A trunk mat is a floor mat for the trunk area. If you have the option, don't get it, but most dealers have them as part of the sticker as an easy markup item. You will still have a normal looking trunk just like any other car without it.

 

All of the mats in my 06 6mt have the logos

 

my 06 doesn't have logo also. but i have a 05 at home, which has the logo. If anyone wants a trunkmat, either my 06 or my 05, i am willing to sell one of them. Send me a pm.

 

My '04 optional trunk mat has a "G35" logo on it.

None of my 06 mats have the logo (trunk either). It was like that right off the truck.

 

My '06 MT has a logo on the trunk mat but no logo's on the floor mats?? Damn, how much do you have to spend to get logo's on the floor mats? lol I guess more then 40K...

 

If all else fails, I am "assuming" you can go on ebay and get a trunk mat for a discounted price with the Logo.

 

My '06 came with logos on all matts. I went back to order a set of back matts for the interior and they came with no logos. Needless to say I didn't buy them, they looked cheap to me... I was told that all future matts produced after a certain date would not have the logo on them, which sucks if you ask me...

 

My 06 has came with two trunk mats, lol.

I special ordered mine...and an "optional" trunk mat was definitely not in my specs...but somehow its in there...
