Oh No! I ALWAYS drive with my foglights on b/c the stock lighting sucks, and I like the look of the foglights on too. I have 25k miles on my car.

Should I be worried about getting the crack soon? Will the crack effect my headlights vision?
-it seems to be pretty common so it'll probably happen. Affect vision? no.

Is there anything I can do to make sure the headlight doesn't crack besides turning off the foglights?

So do you guys ever drive with your foglights on besides in the fog?
-no i only use it when its real foggy

just use it and if it does happen u get new headlights from the dealer..

Hooray for digging up old threads! Has anyone had these replaced under warranty so far? Just noticed mine were cracked the other night. :/

 

got mine done about 2 weeks ago.. no problems and they did my recall...

luvin the new lights, so nice and clean!!!

Hmmmmm, better check mine carefully cuz I have 04 and been driving both lights on (HID foglight too) most of the time, 70K + miles now. All I can see is the yellowish residue on the housing!

 

Did you get them to order you a set of 06 headlights and you cover the difference?

Damn...... I just realized I have cracks in both my headlights today as well. Thing is I paid to get clearbra on the headlights too. Does the dealer swap out the entire headlight assembly for warranty? Or do they open it up and swap in new parts inside the headlight assembly?
