Tall people and sunroofs.

Tall people and sunroofs.
Hi,
I plan on ordering a Black with Willow Leath. 6MT coupe shortly, but one of the things I'm pondering is the head room space. I'm a 6 foot 3 guy and head room is always a factor. My past experience with cars is that when you get one with a sunroof option you lose 2 inches of headroom space. My infiniti dealer is far away and I've only been able to sit a coupe w/ out a sunroof (it was fine). Any other tall coupe owners out there with the Premium Package? I want that sunroof!

I'm 6'4" and I have a sunroof.. I've never measured how much room I have but my head doesn't hit the roof.

Re: Tall people and sunroofs.
i bet im the tallest one here, im 6' 5 and when i test drove the coupe (w/ sunroof) the seat bottom was back all the way, lowered all the way and i was able to fit and drive fine, sure its a little snug, but nothing major and besides im used to it, however whenever i had to lean forward to check blind spots n such i felt my hair brushing against the roof lol

I am 6'0" and my head sometimes hits the roof (yes, I have the sunroof)... It has everything to do with your torso height... Guess I have a big torso...
So I just recline my seat really far back (sucks for the person behind me - there usually never is one), and then I have about 2 inches of room between my head and the roof....
I like the sunroof as well, and would not give that up. Screw the person that sits behind me... They don't like it, then they can go in someone else's car.

Re: Tall people and sunroofs.
I'm 6'2" and used to like to sit upright. I've had to get used to leaning back slightly, but it's actually more comfortable once you're used to it. My head scrapes if I sit upright and that was a major concern for me, as well. I think there's about 40.5" of room from the seat to the roof; my former truck had 43.5" and was what I'd call roomy (a couple of inches to spare).
If you don't mind adjusting your seating posture, you'll be fine. If you do, you might want to reconsider.

Re: Tall people and sunroofs.
6'1", long torso, sold my Lariat and will be giving up motocross racing ( at season's end so that I could afford the G. Minor recline adjustment to be happy in the G. Will never choose to own a car without the sunroof- in fact was one of the factors against buying the Z, TT, s2000 (roof up)and RX8, which were also players. Despite the sleek looks, the G is quite tall compared to others, thus even with the sunroof, headroom is still pretty generous when compared to the competition.
