I was wondering how many people got dealer survey's from Infiniti. Not the survey you get from JD Power, but the suvey where they ask you to rate your saleman, sales experience, etc.

Does everyone who buys a new G35 get one?

I got 4 surveys so far from Infiniti. 1 for the real buying experience and it had my dealer, sales rep's name on the form. 1 came with the roadside assistance thing. the rest 2 were for their service department when I brought my car in for the TSB fix.

I got a survey also from the Infiniti dealer for the "buying experience" this week also. The dealer called me several weeks before to let me know that I will be receiving a survey and he offered a little "extra topping" on my next service date if I complete and return the survey.

 

i picked up my car wednesday. fri i got a call asking me about my experience (scale of 1-5), one othe question, and would i recommend dealer ship.

3 quick questions. but only two days later.

 

I've had my car 3 months now and I haven't gotten anything.

 

Believe it or not, I have actually heard of Salespeople offering a (cash) incentive for an excellent rating! I guess everything goes these days. The Salesperson's salary is directly based on these surveys.

when i bought a previous car, the finance guy kept screwing up. when the survey came, i called dealership and told them my issues. they sent me gift certificates for restaurants to give top rating.

 

I wish I got a survey from the dealership that I had originally placed the order for my car. They were the ones that needed to be rated. That was just a sad experiance. The sales person might as well had screamed take your business elsewhere at me. Their Loss.

 

are the salespersons salary really based on the survey?

 

My sales guy was telling me how he'd get some big bonus (he told me the amount, but I can't remember it) if he got all excellents. It was definitely clear the importance of filling out the survey "correctly." I like the question on the survey about did they mention this survey to you. And did they mention it too much, too little, or just right.

With my coupe being 10 months old now, I would say that I have had 4 surveys in the first 6 months of owning it, but nothing since. I do remember one question saying something like, "Do you want your dealer to view your results?" Whether you indicate that or not, I'm sure the dealer gets the feedback.
