Would I trade my G for the new 3 series turbo coupe? HEll Yeah

well not the sedan....the new 3 series coupe (E90) yes!....or M3..... I own a 2002 330ci and love it...the difference between the infiniti build and bmw is as clear as day light....but I would wait 1 year or so for them to work out the bugs......enjoy! don't fall for blind infiniti pride

Thank you guys for all your insightful thoughts. Nobody could give a better advice than you. I will guess I will wait for the new M3 and hope to have enough money by that time to afford it. Everybody says the value of my G will go down significantly by the time I pay it off (2009) and that is why I wanted to do the exchange at this moment while it is still worth more money.However,there is nothing at this price range that will give me the joy the G does. Maybe the IS 350 but then again I will be paying extra for it.
I kind of regret that I bought the G instead of leasing it but I will enjoy it regardless. A special thanks to sihochunsah for the detailed analysis.

 

I would trade my G35 for a Mercedes SL, Aston Martin or a Ferrari. Anything less than that, I'd just be downgrading. Entry level BMW crafted by a cocky American egomaniac? No thanks, performance aside Banglemobiles look like drunken chicks with facial hair and bad plastic surgery.

 

I would never buy a used M3 for two reasons: 1. The M3 retains its value better than any other mass produced car with the exception of the C6 Z06. 2. Chances are that you are going to buy a car that has been beaten to hell and will have problems down the road. If you must have an M3, save up and buy a new one.

 

I might trade a sedan for a 330 but not the coupe. It's not even in the same league in terms of looks.

I like the performance of the M3 but it's also kind of ugly. I'd definitely sack the two extra seats and buy a Corvette over the M3.

Most people are telling him to wait for a new M3. If he is not able to lease one now, chances are he wont be able to lease the new one.

You can't praise the G35 that much that its up there with exotics. The car is great.. but not that great.The bimmer is not all that bad, the german engineers really did quite a job with their cars
