i called my local dealer to schedule an oil change since its been 3750 miles, and my car has 16k miles on it... and at 1st he says i have 2 more free oil changes until 24k... then he calls me back 10 mins later and says sorry i was mistaken but your free service expired as of last october, and then he also mentions that im also due in for 2yr maintenance package which will cost me $580, is this some kind of bs they trying to pull? They say it includes rotating tires, check battery, transmission flush, etc... I remember doing something similar for my 15k maintenance, so wtf?

Just want to know if this dealer is bs with me, do I really need this?
