Hey guys I removed my factory spoiler that came with my 2004 coupe so now i dont have a third brake light. Im going to get the third brake light from another person who has an 04 coupe and doesnt need it anymore. Would it be easy to install the third brake light that goes in the back window? I would guess i have to make a hole in the rear deck or something. Has anyone done this? I called up infinti and they were quoting me $210 for the labor.

It almost sounds easier to get the entire rear deck (or whatever its called) from a G that had the 3rd brake light installed and install the whole thing. There are a few holes (4 or 5 rectangular shaped) that the 3rd brake light clips into. To me, the hard part would be getting the wiring up to the light, but then again, mabye all the Gs have them and are just not used if the 3rd brake light is not installed from the factory.

Good luck though, should be a fun project!
