Re: Front Bumper Removal

ive had to take off the front bumper twice..its not hard...too bad i didnt take step by step pics....First remove 6 clips that are located right above the main grille and some closer to the headlights, then remove 10 (i think) screws that are located underneath the car in the frontmost area (*use a short philips screwdriver...or jack up the front to fit the SD..youll see what i mean) then turn your wheel all the way to one direction..i.e. turn them to the right to work on the driver side. then remove 3 (i think) clips that are located in the fender well (clips are just like the ones above the grille). gently pry out the fender well so that now the bumper is not holding it in place. then take out the sidemarker that is on the bumper (not the actual lense..only the bulb and stuff) now remove two bolts....u may use a phillips or a 10mm socket, one of the bolts is located right on the end where the bumper meets the quarter panel (i think thats what u call it)...the other one is located closer to the headlight (its hard to get too, its a tight sqeeze and expect to get some bruises....youll get it though) remove these same two bolts on the otherside.....now nothing is holdong the bumper...u may want another person to help u remove it (one on each side) b/c at the ends of the bumper it has these metal plates that can scratch your car....to replace it just do all this in reverse. if u have any Q's let me know.
