The cost savings of the Brembos (in the 2003 & 2004 6MT models) contributed to upgrading of the 18" cast wheels to 19" RAYS forged wheels, a revised suspension, larger standard brakes, and a 298HP Rev Up motor for the 6MT version. Also noted is a revised interior which is throughout the G35 lineup.

I'd say it was money well spent. I mean, really, how many run of the mill G buyers are going to utilize their Brembos to such an extent that it warrants spending the extra $$ for them? I know, I'm sure that there are quite a few people on this forum who do, but those of us on auto forums (enthusiasts) do NOT represent the majority of owners.
With that being said, Joe Buyer would likely be more impressed and have his ego better satisfied by having bluetooth, more HP, and larger rims than by having a "fringe" performance option that the average person, who said buyer would be trying to impress, would not recognize the value of.
Or maybe I'm just a dumb noOb who's full of it.

I have brembos, and I agree with all of the above, that majority of us don't really need the extra braking power brembos provide, and I hope I will never have to use them to the limit, but when I do, I'll be sure glad I had them.
And besides, with all the stares from people, my brembos got more looks than the library got books.
