i mean you gotta agree with me that for a 300 hp car, it doesn't even push you back in your seat). but our cars are loud.

It's not HP that pushes you in your seat, it's torque and the coupe doesn't have as much as the sedan. So even though the coupe is faster than the sedan, it feels slower than the sedan. The loudness is subjective and having come from a 996 with PSE, the G sounds quiet to me. As a matter of fact if my windows are up, I can barely hear the exhaust sound. I have an '05 coupe. Maybe earlier models were louder.

Don't bash the original poster, he brings up a good point. I, too, think that stock G35 coupes are too loud........

for old ladies.

why would anyone not want to hear the exhaust sound of a G??? Just turn the volume up on the radio if it bothers you that much, or trade the car in for a is350... That is pretty much the closest you will get to "silent performance"....

I saw an advertisment in a mag for high performance exhaust systems that were made to be less noisy. Maybe this is for you. Check out some car mags

One of the highlights of the coupe IS the exhaust sound. Have these pepole lost their mind!!! I have my mid pipe I took off my sedan want it, it's yours just pay for shipping. It's going to sound like a$$ though......

yeah, i actually do understand your desire to silence the coupe a little. although i still do enjoy the sound of my exhaust (fujitsubo), when i have a headache or just want a little silence, this car blows chunks.

yeah i'm sure people will say, then go buy another car. well i do have another car that is much more quiet and much faster than the G, but the G is my daily driver. guess that's why i'll be swapping for the 07 sedan. i know that there will still be an exhaust tone, but it'll still be quieter than the coupe.

good luck with silencing it, but you really can't unless you're going to sacrifice the performance.

ha ha, thanks for the heated responses
i guess i'm getting old - 34 now. i also have an 05 honda pilot and an 06 VW passat and those things are quiet and i'm beginning to enjoy their silence on the road and my coupe is starting to annoy me. i guess i just want my coupe to be just like that, a quick but silent cruiser.
i'm also wondering if my 19's make it noisy. i have dunlop direzza tires.
