engine swap question!?

Im not totally sure but i think i read somewhere on here that somebody put an M45 engine in the g coupe. How much would this cost? Would it even be worth it and how much would the performance increase ?? is this even possible lol im kinda a noob to this stuff still , thanks

im not great with engines. but i know that a swap would most likely be expensive, if possible. the m45 also might not be a good engine for the bay. not sure so sorry if im wrong. my honest opinion is you can probably get aftermarket mods for power, ie FI,exhaust, new head/cam setup. correct me if im wrong and an m45 engine swap would be cheaper and possible, but i feel the performance mods would be better, and cheaper.

Actually it's not that much work they already modded the transmission bell housing to the tranny, only slight problem was that the starter didn't reach the flywheel so we decided to cut the brackets on the starter and move them up about 5/8 and re-weld them. Should be done at end of month will post pics soon
