NJ cops? Laser? Radar?

Who knows how many % of NJ cops use laser? Like do most of them user laser or radar?

EVERY experience I've had with NJ cops (which has been plentiful unfortunately), has been a radar experience.

Only place I've ever gotten hit by laser (and caught unfortunately) was in ohio.. near columbus I think.

i think they're starting to switch over to laser. especially on the garden state parkway. i've been hit with laser on the GSP a few times. otherwise its mostly radar on the streets and such.

What settings do you keep your V1 at for NJ? Pro Logic or advanced pro logic? No matter what the setting, I'm getting tons of X band warnings. You ever drive through paramus either on Route 4 or Route 17? Damn, my v1 starting hemorrhaging. The bogey reader read 9 once by the Bergen Mall.

If you know for sure that they don't use X-band radar in your area, you could disable that band on your V-1.

yes there are a lot of false X band signals but you'll always get that around malls and such cause of the automatic door openers. i've been hit by every band in NJ althought most often its X and K. i keep the V1 in advanced logic all the time.

Last month I got pulled over for speeding on the Jersey Turnpike exit 2. My radar/laser detector didn't picked up the laser gun. [censored] happens

NJ state police started using Laser on the Turnpike and Parkway about six months ago. There was an article about it in the Bergen Record around that time.

Hey fellow NJ drivers. I used to have an Escort Passport 8500 (sold it on eBay last week, saving up for the BEL remote installed radar) and here is what I can tell you. We get a lot of X-band readings because there are a lot of false alarms. For example, those automatic sliding doors project X-band waves and our radar detectors pick it up. Do not remove X-band from your programming though, as cops in NJ still use it to target our asses. Where do you NJ guys live? I am in Northern NJ (town of Alpine, Bergen County).
