If you are willing to stick with infiniti then chances are the dealership will take care of your over-mile charges, as long you aren't like 90,000 miles over or something insane.
There are alot of ways around it. For instance, if you the buy-out on your car is 20,000, and its worth 25,000, then you can just buy it and sell it, and make 5,000 instead of paying 5,000 worth of over-mile fee's or whatever the dollar amount might be.

there are alot of benefits to leasing, just gotta know where to look.

In all seriousness, you need to find another car (or bus) to offset the milage you put on so you don't go over your milage. That's why only certain people lease. You sir, are not meant to lease.

NO!!! that's a federal crime to tamper with the odometer. BTW, for most cars the mileage is kept track in the instrument cluseter so if you swap that out you'll get the previous cars mileage. Not too sure if that applies for the G35, but it did in a couple of other instrument cluseters I swaped out.

wait you've been a member since April 2005 and only have 25 posts...joking.

Maybe it took him a couple of months to gather up the courage to ask a potential prison time / huge a$$ fine question. You know the FBI is watching this thread and will bust down his door as soon as he does it.

You guys are all making this situation way too complicated. All you need to do is take a picture of your milage right now and print it out on a color printer. When you return the car to the dealership, tape the print out milage over the odometer. No one will ever be able to tell the difference.

just cover the first 4 digits of the odometer with some orange paper and you will be fine...
